This is the preliminary sketch of the cutting blade system for our electric tree pruning device. As you can see in the sketch, my initial idea is to have two separate blades connected at a hinge point. One blade will be fixed to the housing, while the other blade is actuated by the chain and returned to the open position with a spring.
